Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

SUMMARY:

Experienced LPN to make our team of nurses complete. We are looking for an organized, motivated individual. Primary responsibilities are medications and illness and injury management for school based Health Center. Patient care as needed during overnight hours for residential students. *Detailed position description will be provided upon request.

COMPENSATION:

Hourly rate: Pay grade 19; $16.16 – 18.26, depending on qualifications; excellent benefits.

SCHEDULE:

Sunday through Thursday, 11 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. (when school is in session) Health Center is closed Saturday and Sunday during the day, school holidays and summer break, unless special student activities have been scheduled).

SPECIAL NOTICES:

Upon an offer of employment, a thorough background investigation will be conducted.

Upon an offer of employment, a Certificate of Health for School Personnel form, which includes a Tuberculosis test, must be completed and passed prior to reporting for duty (cost borne by applicant), pursuant to K.S.A. 72-5213.
