Field Services Specialist  -  Central Kansas Region:  The Field Services Specialist is a member of a dynamic team that collaborates regularly in person and/or through web conferencing to support local districts, cooperatives, tiny-k agencies, and families who have children/students with visual impairment. 

Field Services Specialist  -  Western Kansas Region: The Field Services Specialist is a member of a dynamic team that collaborates regularly in person and/or through web conferencing to support local districts, cooperatives, tiny-k agencies, and families who have children/students with visual impairment. 

Student Services, Process Coordinator:  Coordinates the special education process (in conjunction with local school districts), IEP development, and placement to ensure: (1) appropriate placement and return of students with visual impairment, including additional disabilities to local districts; and  (2) compliance with state and federal requirements for the implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, IDEA.

Registered Nurse IV:  Responsibilities are unique to a nurse at a residential facility for students who are visually impaired.  Responsibilities include in-servicing of all staff on Blood borne pathogens, ensuring safe work practices, scheduling of Health Center staff, providing statewide Vision workshops with KUAHEC and coordinating first aid and CPR training. Duties also include serving as a key member of the agency’s Safety committee.
